The Inspiration Challenge is not available at the 2019 Best Practices. We hope to bring it back next year.
Aspire to Inspire
Do you have a best practice or helpful tip that you believe will inspire and motivate others in the information development community? CIDM invites you to share your success story and be recognized by your peers in our best practices competition.
The Inspire award replaces the annual Rare Bird award. Like its predecessor, the award seeks to recognize information development organizations that have implemented outstanding and successful processes or programs to improve their productivity, quality, or reputation within their company. However, we have taken away the long application process and made it easier for everyone to be involved.
To apply, simply submit a brief (<500 word) abstract that describes your best practice and prepare an “elevator pitch” (less than five minutes) to present to your peers and the judging panel at the Best Practices conference in September. Your abstract will go through an initial judging process to narrow the field to the top 10. Final judging will then occur on site at the conference, with two awards given:
Judges’ choice
Community choice
Final submissions must be presented in person at the conference to be considered. By submitting an entry, you agree to register for and attend the conference if your idea is selected for the finals. Presenters are not given speaking discounts for the conference; however, CIDM members may certainly use their member passes for registration.
Please submit your Inspiration before Friday, August 16, 2019. The Inspiration Challenge is not available at the 2019 Best Practices. We hope to bring it back next year.
We invite you to aspire to inspire. Submit your abstract on the form below, no later than August 16, 2019. Finalists will be notified in late August.
