A Flight of Translation Best Practices
Jennifer Johnson presents a series of topics related to translation including technical writing for translation, translation memory, and managing in-house or through a language service provider; cost savings, educating product development organizations to think globally, the translation process, and benefits of a strong partnership with a language service provider.
Jennifer will introduce a topic, describe the best practices, and invite the audience to participate and share their best practices. Each topic will be discussed for 5 – 8 minutes, then we will move on to the next. Join us for an informal, lively, fast paced, and informative discussion.

Jennifer Johnson is the Technical Publications Team Leader at Hypertherm, a global provider of industrial cutting solutions. Her teams of Technical Writing and Translations support 8 separate business units and five global marketing teams to provide technical product content and marketing collateral in up to 26 languages.
