Measuring the success of enterprise cooperation

Presentation Abstract

Clearly, a cooperative content development effort across an enterprise has the potential to increase user satisfaction with information products, improve job satisfaction, and eliminate redundant work, thereby reducing overall costs. On the other hand, it can also introduce a variety of challenges into organizations that have run perfectly well independently for years. In the long run, how do you measure the success of collaboration? What metrics should you baseline and continue to track as you implement a cross-department venture? This session introduces specific objectives and key performance indicators that provide a holistic view to managing and monitoring the fitness and impact of a collaborative content development team.
